Problem:
The national company, Presentation Services Audio Visual, PSAV supplies audio and visual equipment for hotel conventions and presentation. Currently one PSAV location is the Gaylord Palm Resort Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. PSAV has had problems with missing thousand of dollars of equipment from their general storage room. The employees would use a general hotel card key to unlock the door. This system has no accountability as to who opened the door and at what time.

Solution:
BioTraits has placed an IGuard biometric access control system requiring employees to use their fingerprint and a four digit access code to unlock the door. Once the individual is authorized the electric strike releases and the door is unlocked. The IGuard features a web based system that allows supervisors and managers to track who has entered the general storage room and even allows them to unlock the door remotely. Because employees need their fingerprint to open the door, and all entries are logged employees have become accountable for their actions.
